My 2009 Z4 has started making the dreaded bonging noise to indicate a roof problem. Doesn’t seem to happen all the time so I scanned it and found the following error codes
A692 - hall sensor VSW5.3
A698 - top hatch open
I’ve also noticed some water behind the seats so I assume that the roof isn’t locking properly (even though it looks fine)
I’ve ordered a couple of hall sensors but from what I can see there are 4 of them. How do I know which one is at fault?
