Half cover for an E89?

Having a new (to us) E89 incoming shortly, I have been thinking of getting a half cover for it as will have to live on the driveway as the garage is full of various bits of Z3 in assorted states of disrepair!

I don't like full covers, as they are a pain to get on and off, a pain to dry, a pain to store and just not practical for a car which is going to be used quite regularly.

I want a 'car cap' type thing, just to protect the roof and window seals from water really. There are loads available ranging from about £15 to £300. Any recommendations?

Admittedly mines an E85! Been on for three winters now, just gets chucked in the wheelie bin when I take it off and it’s holding up well. I had one for my Focus prior to this.

Thanks. Yes I saw those ones, and look like a decent price for a semi-bespoke one.

I’ll buy it off you when you sell the car next year!

Why is car cover a pain to get on and off. I do every day.
Just roll from front to mirrors, then rear to mirrors, off mirrors and fold over.
Reverse to put on, been doing now 11 years.

Doddle compared to my other covers on aircraft on windy airfield with frost frozen fingers.

In case anyone is interested in one of these, the exact same cover as in the link above is available from 'classic additions' for £9 less, as they include free postage aswell as the price being a few quid cheaper.

I have one from UKCarCovers which works a treat on the E85. Feels well made, is waterproof, and is dead easy to put on, take off and stow in its case.
