Hey everyone - just thought I'd say hi in the noob forum, and ingratiate myself with a couple of pics (which I know you all love!). I'm another refugee from Z4UM, and kinda lost touch when it went down, but I recognise tons of names here. Good to see everyone again!
Well, today I decided on a spontanaous drive, and ended up doing 300 miles or so on some amazing A roads. It was amazing, and definately the best fun I'd had in my baby for months. I headed to Balloch, then along the Trossachs route up to Crainlarach and back down via Dunoon. It's a popular road, and one of my favs
I snapped a ton of pics on my phone, and here are a couple of the better ones. It actually wasn't as wet as it looks in the photos, but it was kinda gloomy and atmospheric. It's a great drive, and I'd recommend it to anyone. I heard someone mention there's "loads of Scoobys" on those roads, and sure enough, I was overtaken at a fair rate (albeit pretty smooth/safe) a couple of times by subarus. I don't think there's a single speed camera on the whole route, not that anyone here would dream of speeding
Just nice to be able to concentrate on the driving and have fun. Anyway, here's the pics!
