Morning/Afternoon/Evening.

Just catering for the timezones there.

My name is Rem Kingston.
I'm currently looking at a Z4 as a new car to drive on the weekends and evenings.

I love the syling of the Coupe with its sleek clean lines, and its almost retro "250 GTO" rear end.
Unfortunately this means the engine options are only 3.0.

What kind of MPG do you guys return (A link to relevant thread may be more suiting)?
Im looking at buying something on a 56 plate for around £19,000 so recommendations would be wonderful.

Welcome to the forum MrRem

my MPG is about 30-36 depending on run type and mood :? but that's on an older car with the 3.0 engine. Coupe's get the newer engine, and are supposed to be a bit better :D

Happy hunting 8)

Many thanks Gannet.

I drive to work in a dirty '98 Shogan but its nice to know that the Z4 can give it a good run for its money with MPG.
Just need something that ius fun and professional enough to visit clients in.
But I dont want rear seats. Can't give the girlfriend any ideas for filling them...

MrRem, welcome to the forum...
Yes, big advantage of a 2 seater IMO is the lack of space for junk... :P

3.0Si Coupe on the highway, around 80MHP, A/C on, radio blaring, 32 mpg solid.

Mixed in town, around 27 (depends of course on how much of that is stop and how much of that is go). Of course, you have to allow for US vs Imperial gallons and all that.
