Hi everyone
Bit of advice on tyres please, Iv had enough of my RFs and am looking to replace them with something good for comfort and longevity .
Any thoughts please
Thank you

1 Check your wheels for cracks.
2 Buy the most expensive tyres you can afford.
3 Have all 4 wheels aligned.
4 Use BMW's recommended pressures.
5 Check the pressures every month.

Almost any non run flat tyre will be a marked improvement in both ride quality and handling..

Do you have a budget figure?

Cheap as chips

Not bothered

Damm the expense

You'll get a full set of Continental Sport Contact 7 from Kwik Fit for £667 with the current offer.

They are one of the best tyres on the market and I think you'll struggle to beat that price.

I have GY Asym 6 and like them. Good grip and comfortable  Bought them on line from Kwikfit and had them fitted in one of their shops.

Kwik fit have black friday deals on at the moment.
Have just ordered a set of continental contact sport 7 for the Golf R , £528 all in with fitting this sunday.

Join the AA

That's not much use if you're hundreds of miles from home and they recover your car in stages!

I think B21 has a space-saver. I've got a full-size front wheel in my boot - not much luggage space though.

I have a space saver and the AA. My wife’s tyre on her car was damaged beyond repair and the AA changed it for her space saver. Best of both worlds. The E85 boot is quite large compared to other roadsters and still has plenty of room with the spare.

B21 has two horses. Guaranteed to get you out of any jam.

Horses aren't much use if you're miles from home when you get a puncture - a space-saver in the boot is much more convenient!

Plenty of room in most Z4 boots for a wheel, but not in an M. (That one was a test fit, not the actual one and it works slightly better face-down).

Still more room than an F type Jaaaag?

That's true!

I'm sure Clarkson said a space-saver was an option on an F-Type, but if you had to use it you either needed to put the wheel with the flat tyre in the passenger seat or leave it at the roadside.
