Lowered plate on the Z4 just doesn't look right to me. Some cars it works, others it doesn't - on my Jaguar XK8 I dropped the plate and replaced the grille with a stainless steel mesh one, that looked kickass.

i feel the big black plate holder slapped onto the bumper spoils the front of the car, much better with no plate, so my thinking was the lowering would be the best compromise - ive fired off an email to a place where i can get the holder used on the rx8, im pretty sure its just a bolt on job so should be universal, if it is its worth £15 to give it a try
