Hacked FB Account!

Yup! I’ve been hacked. Fuckers!

So I’ve reset my password but that’s where it ends. They’ve somehow encrypted (if that’s the correct terminology) my email & mobile number so any codes sent by FB never get to me and in turn means I can’t get past this stage!!!

Anyone had similar & got further or is it the unfortunate stage of starting again

However, I have a business page where I get about 50% of my work so it’s a bit of a necessity

It is a worrying if they have your business account. I hope they don't cause your business harm.

My wife had a similar issue and contacted FB who were no help whatsoever.

That’s the way forward However, IF you find that out after you’ve been hacked you can’t log in to set up the 2 factor authentication

That’s as far as I get when it asks for the 6 digits!!!!

As far as the business page is concerned that’s the page people contact me on. From there it’s phone calls/ meetings etc. No banking details/ fees etc are discussed.

Think that's what Jock is saying, once they're in your account they can lock you out, change your login etc and then go merrily impersonating you

I don't really post much on there anymore, just keep it for some car groups I'm a member of.

Mikey, that’s about the long & short of it! It is that easy to start up a new account but I have a lot of saved family photos on there which I will lose :x

It probably won’t hurt to share amongst your friends and family, via WhatsApp perhaps that youve been hacked and they should report the account. That might get FB to take notice abit more and then try contact them again off the back of it. I’ve seen people I know gain access back to their account with that process. Best of luck! Never nice when that happens I’ve been hacked a few times before
