It's just trial and error for me. I done mine today and you can keep adjusting forever. There comes a point where you have to accept it'll never be perfect. The headlights have 4 torx bolts each and the bumper is held on with 7 torx bolts at the top. These have lots of adjustment, so you have plenty to play around with.
 
As above an element of trial and error. I've learnt to understand the relationship between the 4 components of wing, light, bonnet and bumper cover at the 'X' meeting point.
Work on getting it right one part at a time and the result will be perfect.
Light to wing first and if that all feels right then the rest follows. Biggest gap should end up under the headlight to bumper cover.
