Hi
Im wondering if anyone knows which springs either H&R or Eibach on M adaptive suspension set up for
1. Best overall ride and handling

2. Which sit slightly higher as I dont want it completely slammed!

Thanks :)

There are no springs that will make it sit higher

If you dont want it slammed then you dont want H & R , Eibach are slightly lower than stock , 20mm front , 10mm rear

With M-sport suspension Eibach is only going to lower front 10 mm.

The H&R springs are very low , perfect stance but you will have to crawl over speed bumps with on occasion some scraping

The car I have does not have adaptive suspension but standard
Two questions

1. Can the standard shocks take the Eibach and perform well, what will the overall ride be like.
2. If I go for a coilover set which would you guys recommended for great street driving

The Eibachs are fine on adaptive , no real difference from stock ride quality wise , some improvement in body control , mine will be up for sale next week on the forum

If you go Coilovers you will be looking at KW3 , £1395 with EDC delete modules , these I believe are the best you can get for the E89 but they are not cheap

My car hasnt got the Adaptive suspension option . Its running stock s drive 3.5i suspenion. How do you think Eibach or H&R's will perform with stock shocks

Both should be fine , I must warn you with H & R if you have a load of speed bumps around your area you may get tired crawling over them, the car is very low with them on

I had no issues with speed bumps on Eibach as they are only a marginal drop over stock

My set of Eibach springs are for sale here incase your interested http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=92373

If you look on the eibach website, there are different codes for the spring sets. At a guess it'll be down to the different weights of the vehicles, so the spring will need to be different to accommodate.

Unfortunate, as I'm looking for some, but it only seems 35 ones coming up for sale.
