Finally taken the Zed for a decent country run today after fitting H&R Coils with 20mm coil spacers + Koni Sports, 19" 225M rims and Pirelli Zeros plus new steering control arms and a bunch of new PowerFlex polyurethane bushings.
Firstly, transformational compared to the 18 YO's general handling when I first bought her a couple of months ago.
Secondly, it now easily outhandles my E46 M3 on a windy Australian country road.
The only thing I miss is that banshee roar and power band of an S54 (or perhaps some turboed modern equivalent)
But on a nice windy road sheer power isn't that relevant - handling is. This is one nice car to drive!
