H&R Coilover Install - How to install rear height adjusters?

I feel like this piece should be more simplistic than what it has turned out to be, but my H&R kit came with no instructions. This is my first time installing coilovers and I'd like to not mess it up. I've looked at a couple vague DIY threads for coilover installs on our car, but either they don't cover the height adjusters in detail or the ones that do aren't the same brand/type.

I purchased the H&R kit in the image below and have completed the install on the rear all except for the height adjusters. Right now my car is riding around without the height adjusters and a TON of camber because of it. The height adjusters are the small black pieces shown in the picture. They consist of a threaded center that has flat side with rounded edges and on the other side the two nuts are threaded on with a c-clip on the end. One of the nuts has an allan head screw in it. There is also a thin plastic gasket, for lack of a better word, that came with each adjuster. It looks like it's probably supposed to ride between where the spring and adjuster meet so there isn't metal rubbing on metal, but I would like to make sure of this as well.

I'm hoping that someone might be able to let me know how these are supposed to be installed and adjusted. Also, will I be fine to drive the car for a day or two without the adjusters in? I don't want to damage the new shocks, but the tires aren't rubbing or anything and there is enough room for clearance over bumps.

Thanks!

Mmm...shiny. What made you go for these over the other choices? I'm not sure what options we have, other than Bilsteins or OEM.

As for your question, it would make sense if they sit between the top of the spring and the chassis.
