A new series now on ch4.Guy Martin in India.Looks like a good watch, far better than the clowns on Top Gear.

Thought Top Gear was superb this week mind

Guy is fabulous on TV and this programme really top tele

:driving:

Having lost Fred Dibnah, thank goodness we have Guy to move the entertainment on - he was made for TV.

He's the most relaxed, open and genuine person on TV; it makes him such a watchable presenter.

Putting him in India was a mastermind plan. . . . 'must watch' TV for me.

:driving:

This one has the potential to be the best Guy Martin series yet, he had spades of respect for the 60 year old female tyre fitter, and rightfully so. All being well th'missus and me will be visiting India next year - something to look forward to

NNooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I forgot about this. :(

I missed it to, but it's being repeated numerous times, plus as you say on inter web.

Didn't forget, but Dragons Den was on at the same time.

Recorded Guy Martin, watch it tomorrow. BTW, good article on Guy in the Sunday Times today, apparently he still holds down a full time job as a lorry mechanic in Grimsby :o

Did youu see the episode where he showed us his fully operational Rolls Royce merlin engine with mini prop attached to a wheeled trolley , absolutly brill , every middle aged kid should have one , what a great bit of kit, you are right he is a character ,very modest ,

it was a great program as are all of the ones he does. totally down to earth bloke and really fun to watch. plus he owns the fastest Volvo in the world  205mph

Forgot to record this but will definitely catch up. I've been watching Guy Martin's Speed repeats on Saturday lunch time. Not only is he enthusiastic & very personable the programmes are also very educational. This weeks was the gravity racer build, there was tons of physics explained & so easy to understand. I'm a school science technician & have told the physics teachers to get some clips as the kids will love it & might just remember something about friction, kinetic energy, gravity etc etc.
Although with all the step hills we have here in Bath maybe the gravity racer programme might inspire some dangerous copycats :o

Anything with Guy Martin is must watch TV in our house !!!
His DVD closer to the edge is also a great watch he has to be the most down to earth person on TV

I agree his book is a cracking read, along with his TV documentaries/programs and Closer to the Edge Film.
I have been a fan for a number of years now being interested in the whole road racing scene. He's become very popular recently with his TV showings etc.. Top bloke.

He's riding for BMW this year, Be great if he wins at the Isle of Man TT when I am there

He's very proud of the Fact, he has never had an HGV that he has prepared for an MOT, fail its test.
