Well I had an altercation with a leather walking boot last night and unfortunately it won. I now have 3 broken toes and I'm in agony. Nowt that can be done and been told it will be 3 weeks before it at least feels better. Great! Worst bit is, it's my right foot so driving is out of he equation for a little bit. Not a happy bunny and Mikes never getting to 'tidy' up the shoes again! :headbang:

Poor thing......hope the pain eases soon Angie. Don't let it get you down to much.
I'm sure Mike is going to suffer more than you are. :D

Cheers Jimbo. Oh he will be! Glad he didn't have to take me to the hospital and got someone else to do that as he advised me he would need to get me really drunk before he would drive my car with me in it! If it had been my left foot that would have been fine.

At least the weathers not that great here so I'm not missing much......at the moment.

Sorry to hear that Angie4M - think of all those new chores you can think of having Mike do whilst sitting with your foot up ! :|

Hope the toes heal soon.

oh dear, that is very bad luck indeed. get well soon and hopefully the weather will stay horrible for you. it was 20.5c in the car earlier and very sunny.... still is but im done for the day lol

im sure you will get to nag and curse him a lot over the coming weeks

Lead boot or leather boot, you must of hit it quite hard to break 3 toes, ouch....anyhow here's to a speedy recovery

Gutted for you Angie , hope that it gets better soon so that you can get behind the wheel of the zed again :driving:

I can only imagine the pain that Mike must be experiencing at the moment  , I certainly wouldn't want to swop places with him

Cheers guys! I have loads of pain killers at the moment. I have heard that it's been beautiful down south so you guys can keep that weather at the moment, but I'll have it back when my foots better 8) sorry Swiftly!

Still had to do the dishes, washing and make the dinner when I got home but feet up time now. Mike doesn't know what's about to hit him......possibly a leather walking boot!!!

ouch, the hell did you do it?

Someone always leaves their shoes behind the door and as I had kicked them out the way whilst taking the bin out they decided that they would tidy up the shoes and moved my leather walking boots with are pretty rigid to the front why I do not know and lay them on their side. I get back, take off my shoes go into another room and on the way back to the living room manage to whack my foot off the slightly over hanging boot.

I actually heard the crack and knew it wasn't good, just hoped for the best but it was clear it wasn't just a few staved toes and had to go to the hospital to check who confirmed they are broken and and I've managed to break the middle phalanx in them all which is rather strange and its normally the proximal phalanx so I was told.

Hope you feel better soon lovely, trusting Mike's 'entitlements' aren't affected too much!!! 8)

Good job the rest of you works....and remember not to complain too much. He works hard and doesn't need the stress :poke:
