Not sure I've seen gummi mentioned on here, but in my book for convertibles it's a must have.
I give all the seals on my cars a going over with it twice a year, it keeps them all very supple and really contributes to reducing vibrations and noises from adjoining panels.

I don't think it has been mentioned recently, but I'm sure this is where I first herd about it.

I use it on the window rubbers and now I never get annoying "clunk" before the window starts to go down!

It applies much more easily when it's warm.
 
Been using it since my E85 and seen it mentioned many times. Great stuff and lasts for ages as well.
