GUMBALL 3000 COMING TO SPEED VENTURES
Speed Ventures participants and spectators shall suffer (in a good way) the slings and arrows of other people's outrageous good fortune on August 9th at Buttonwillow Raceway Park as we play host to the first high-speed rallye (that's the British way of spelling it) checkpointe (that's the French way) of the celebrity and billionaire-studded extravaganza known as Gumball 3000. In a nutshell, Gumball 3000 provides an unprecedented opportunity for high net-worth individuals to galivant across the globe in pimped out supercars at whatever speed the local authorities will allow by day, and to party like rockstars (well, some of them ARE rockstars actually) at night. Because local authorities can be somewhat reluctant to let people drive 200mph, Gumball 3000 organizers have decided to schedule a couple pit stops at two of the world's premier racetracks (the Chinese Formula 1 circuit (a fantastic F1 track) and Buttonwillow Raceway Park (an equally fantastic and increasingly famous club racing track). After visiting Speed Ventures at Buttonwillow Raceway and eating 350 hotdogs, the caravan of 100+ participants and 250 TV/media and crew will make it's way to Los Angeles where they will go to the kind of parties Aaron Bitterman doesn't get invited to. From there they will go straight to Las Vegas just to make sure they've covered all their bases and aren't unwisely assuming Hollywood has the most to offer in the way of extravagance and debauchery. Next they'll make the obvious move of loading all 100 supercars on to air transport straight for Pyongyang, North Korea (yes, North) because they couldn't think of a better way to show all of us just how truly rich and crazy they really are.

Gumball 3000 is coming to San Francisco
TRAVIS BARKER IS BACK ON THE GUMBALL 3000 RALLYMake no plans for August 9th! Get down to Nob Hill in San Francisco and watch the Gumball rally set off on what is guaranteed to be it's most exciting adventure yet.

The day starts at 10am (US time), there will be 120 super luxury custom and concept cars on display along with celebrities including David Hasslehoff, Travis Barker and Cheeta, the world's oldest non-human primate!

There will also be Puma and Gumball Apparel merchandise stalls and a huge LCD screen so that you don't miss any of the entertainment.

The start flag will drop at 1pm and all the Gumballers will make their way through the 50 foot starting towers and begin their 6000 mile tour across the globe.

Admission is free, so come down and catch a rare glimpse of some of the worlds most expensive and exclusive cars all together in one spectacular setting.

I can not wait to get on the road with some of those cars. We will be meeting them at Buttonwillow Race park and then following ( or tring ) to Hollywood. Then tomorrow getting in the pack to LUX% Event, then to Vista, SoCalEuro meet and San Diego. I might share some pics. :evil:

Having a good time with this. Pics will follow later. Got home at 12:30 AM and I'm getting ready to wash the car and head back out the door. Today they will be headed from LA to San Diego BY way of a LUX5 Event in Huntington Beach, then a stop at HDRE wheels in Vista and a stop at a SoCalEuro event in San Diego, then on in to San Diego for more partys.
