Guess what dealer is replacing on my Zed?

So I just bought this 2005 Z4 a month ago, 52k, decided to get an oil change. BMW calls me and wants to do a pressure check, says there is a slight leak under vehicle... guess what it is???
Also, the knob on the radio just turns, does not change volume. I bought a premium warranty (not thru BMW), they are stalling the fix. I also told the dealer there is no sound coming from rear subwoofer and smaller rear speaker sucks. He says "my tech says they are working fine". I told him I took subwoofer speaker cover off(easy to do), turned volume up all the way, and that speaker does not move at all.I told him he needs to check it again...wtf.....

I bought a premium warranty with an aftermarket company for my 3 yr old volvo . I might as well pi$$ed it up a wall for the money I paid out for the policy and the 2 claims over the 2 years that was not paid out on, before I saw the light and cancelled it. This later Volvo I now own is 3 years old and has a volvo warranty. It actually cost me almost the same as the aftermarket 'screw you over ' warranty. They also had glowing reviews. All I can say is they must only show the decent ones !!

I hope things work out for you. I haven’t heard anything good about car warranties that are not from the dealer. Seems they always have some reason to deny a claim. Do a search on the Net for the company that sold you the warranty, maybe someone who deals with the same company can offer some advice.

I did one of those home warranties years ago and when I did try to make a claim, they fought you to the death on even the smallest items. When I cancelled the policy I told the agent that I’d have been better off if I just took the monthly payment and put it in the bank. The auto policies probably follow that same logic.

True, if it has them. Why would you need the volume on the radio if the steering wheel volume works though...? :?

I had an issue with a knob on the radio, but when I realised Steve Wright is only on Radio 2 I changed stations and it was sorted.

To be honest, just washed wifey's car in the rain, wheeled it back into the car port to dry it and polish out a pigeon s**t mark and spent a pleasant hour or so listening to Mzz Cox. Plays stuff I recognise

I'd rather listen to static for a couple of hours than that patronising prick. He asks a question then ignores the answer and asks the same question again. I can't work out if he's just a knob or dim as fcuk!

We had to take our new to us caravan up to the Wirral for repair yesterday. Not your average caravan, so it had to go to a guy who knows them. I do photos if anyone is interested
On the drive up and back down country, we listened to radio 2, starting with Ken Bruce and finishing with S Cox, mainly for travel news.
I stopped listening to R2 years ago and after suffering Vine and Wright yesterday, I realised why :thumbsdown: Sarah C is lovely and so down to earth.

Hey...so "premium warranty" is crap. When I get my car back, I'm calling and getting my money back. Dealer said the plastic antifreeze overflow container is leaking, and the thermostat housing is leaking. Warranty will not pay for any of this. They would pay for about $900 for the radio, but a new radio is like $1400(wow) I told them to forget the radio....
