Nope, but it is a home-grown car. Very rare, only one or two made by a privateer team owner and actually didn't do too badly. There was also a road legal prototype built. Just imagine!

Im sure i know this car, have a friend who also was involved with the team, or i could be totally wrong, interested to see what it is.

OK.... I was just going to post a message saying that it reminded me of the car that Colin McRae designed...when I used your post as a quote, it's telling me what the car is from the name of the image :oops:

So, I think I know what it is....now! :thumbsup:

Were you involved with Evesham Micro's Stuart? Or involved with the car in a more personal capacity? Company I worked with in 2000 also sponsored motors in the GT series - Marcos', very nice motors. Went out with the drivers for a few laps, great experience. :thumbsup:

Yes, I was there for quite a few years. I finished up as their CTO and left about 2yrs before they went under. I still talk with Richard (the owner) occasionally and his son Rob is now running his own BTCC team campaigning Audis. (Rob Austin Racing). I knew Phil Bourne, the designer and his wife quite well but lost touch. I think Phil went to Lola

Lots of happy memories from Evesham. Did you know them?
 
Yeah, remember them Stuart, had some of their systems in the MOD. Pretty good machines, IIRC.

Bugger, it appears most of the pics i have posted in this thread, the name of the car appears when you press "quote" i take it you need to rename the pic before posting.

They were, the R&D team were truly excellent, a real mix of young and keen with older and experienced. The funny thing is Evesham launched around the same time as Dell did, and I look after them now :)
