GTECHNIQ C4 Trim Restorer

I have an unopened 15ml bottle of Gtechniq C4 Trim Restorer which I plan to use a small amount of to bring the windscreen scuttle and wing mirror base plates back to black.

As this stuff doesn't last for more than a few months after that it will be useless to me and there would be a lot of wasted product.

Therefore, I'm offering the remainder (majority) of the bottle for sale at £15 posted.

I won't open it until I have a buyer so you get it nice and fresh for it to be at its most effective.

s**t didn't know it went off!

I bought some and used it about three weeks ago. Is it fubared now? :headbang:

That said it is brilliant stuff and I did my scuttle panel, plastic on door surrounds, ariel and the boot opening plastic. Nothing else needed doing.

I have had a bottle for the last 2/3 Years. Works as well as it did when new. Used it last week on my m8`s new Focus ST.

Is C4 not the same as C5 & C1, Just use the remainder on your wheels :D
Yep, exactly the same stuff just has slightly different packaging and instructions

As above, same stuff.

FYI, if it's crystalising, the top isn't sealed properly or you're leaving it in cold conditions (garage etc). If you leave it in the house, properly sealed, it should last years.

Maybe it's just marketing BS then.

For wheels is it just a case of wipe on to clean wheels to add a layer of protection?

Given how little you use I expect even if I do the wheels I'll have some left over for sale. If I use more the price would be less obviously.

It takes a fair bit to do the wheels - but it's very good once on

It does depend on overall surface area but I used around two-thirds of a 30ml bottle doing two coats on mine. You need them completely clean and grease free - apply a thin coat, wait a short while for it to cure and then buff with a microfibre cloth. Ideally apply two coats a day or two apart.
