I've seen this recommended on the forum but...

Does it work on black plastic that is already beginning to get that faded look?
Does it work on plastic parts that have been marked by polish and or wax?

No idea - but purchased some last weekend, and intend to test it out this weekend. I'll let you know (and probably take some pics as well)

Yes

It's best to try to clean the polish/wax off the plastic first (try a strong APC solution, or 50% IPA, and a toothbrush) - but before any cleaning solutions, first try a pencil eraser/rubber as that will work in a lot of cases

Another trim treatment that looks very good is the Sonax Plastic Restorer Nano - see http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=302725

I've read a few reviews and C4 looks amazing... Lasts up to 2 years! But the price at £22.50 for 15ml is very expensive!

I am Still tempted to try it :o

Let us know how you get on!

+1. If it's that good though and goes as far as the advertising blurb says, it'll do Mrs GregZ4's Mazda too....

Remember that Gtechniq C1, C4 & C5 are all the same product - just packaged differently

Cx also works brilliantly on wheels so it's worth buying something like the 30ml size which will do all your wheels and all your trim

this gets good reviews, slightly higher price but you get a lot more, Carpro CQuartz Dlux Plastic & Rubber Coating, worth a look.
