Let those ITB's sing!

GruppeM carbon fibre intake recently removed from my Z4M Roadster. No issues with it. Sounds brilliant. I will take some more photos of the intake however below is a photo of it on the car! I had the garage take it off as is, so I think you might have to simply just attach it on with the jubilee clip. Don't take my word for it though, I'm far from a mechanic.

£500.

I believe that's a very fair price considering it looks to be £850-£1000 new online.

Collection is preferred if possible due to the size of it and I don't have the original box. Happy to drop it off if you're based around Yorkshire way.

Thanks.

Bump! Lowered the price to 500 for you lovely lot a s it’s just sat around feeling sorry for itself.

Let those throttle bodies sing. Go on.

Good price for what is a decent bit of kit for a Z4M. If you’ve had one or you still have one then you know

Any takers? I’m now zedless so I definitely won’t be tempted to fit it back on!

Take it off my hands

Can't justify that price sadly at the moment, if you'd do it for £300 to get rid let me know otherwise I just have to hope it's still about after Christmas hah

If the purchase of the M is working out, I would be interested

Hi all,

Here are some photos of the GruppeM intake. And also for the benefit of the people who have shown interest.

A bit of background: I bought it from the dealership at the same time as my M. It came in a pre-assembled state in a cardboard box (as it had already been removed from the car) along with some random screws and fittings. I handed the whole box straight to my local garage to fit without really inspecting its contents.

Now that I’ve had the same garage take it off, this is exactly what I’ve got back. I assume most of the original kit was used during assembly of the intake itself, but I want to ensure whoever buys this is fully good to go without additional tools or parts a garage my have at hand, as by all accounts it’s incredibly easy to fit. To be honest, I’m not even sure if some of the bits and bobs I which I have photographed are actually part of the GruppeM kit, I just found them at the bottom of the box.

I’ve been reviewing the installation guide and other threads (like this one: https://z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=92422), and it looks like, in its current state, it’s a matter of:

1. Connecting it to the pipe using one of the jubilee clips.
2. Connecting the MAF sensor.

For those who are more mechanically adept than I am, or anyone who has fitted one before—does this look like everything you’d need? I have attached a photo I found of the full kit from online to compare.

Thanks
Abbas

Have fun Simon  - saw that my new M has the Eventuri in it so my quest became redundant.
