GruppeM Help

Afternoon Guys,

Finally got round to fitting my new GruppeM kit with the help of a PDF of the forum.

I have a couple spare bits which aren’t mentioned in either instructions. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Couple cable ties
1 side sticky soft long pad

The actual carbon part of the intake does move slightly even though the jubilee clip is tightened fully? Is this normal?

Cheers

Which jubilee clip, as I think there are 4.

Once tightened properly (assuming correct assembly) there should be no looseness between any parts of the intake and the MAF pipe/housing.

I didn’t have any cable ties or sticky pads on mine.

Do you at least have a bracket that connects the intake to the inner wing?

There will always be some movement in the intake, it's not mounted in 100% tight nor should it be as the engine moves with acceleration and deceleration and the intake needs to move with it. The pic above is how it should be.

Thanks guys, the image above is how mine looks. The Jubilee clip I mentioned is the larger one attached to the carbon fibre part. The carbon part can twist round if pushed

Unsure on the spare bits.

As long as it's it's fairly tight it's fine, it won't move. If you want tie the thin pipe to the inner wing bracket as above and put the sticky pad under the pipe where it runs on top of the carbon intake, but there's really no need for the pad.
