Gruppe M Induction kit

Not having a go, but maybe you should start your own thread about how much you'd pay for one instead of giving the op a hard time on his for sale thread.

These are £950 new delivered to the UK and also quite rare so why is this worth over 50% less?

i agree, this product has probably seen 2k miles worth of usage theirs absolutly no way its worth 400 quid!! if i was buying this product id happily pay 650 bills still saving a massive 300+ quid and a nearly new item...... seeing how jamie used his car (NEVER-sorry jamie, lol) i know this part is perfect and recieved very low mileage, i actually personally saw this part installed and it was in AS new condition.

now can everyone stop clogging this mans for sale items, its fucking annoying............

Happening more and more on here, manners have been well and truly forgotten. :(

Pvr, the I wouldn't pay bit was unnecessary imho. If you want it go for it, you won't regret it especially with a roadster.

Cannot agree more! Why people have to be questioned when they sell things on here? Being on Z3 forums for a few years, them folks are pure chill. Good cars (=) good people!? what ever happend...

You are very wrong in this occasion, I merely stated that to me it was worth £400, which is what I was offering. Normal sale / purchasing discussions so not sure why you would get hot under the color about it.

Think pvr has explained himself pretty clearly, when I read the thread it just reads as him offering what he would pay.

Anyway I really like the looks of these and other intakes (eg AFE), but am worried about potential losses. Can OP/others allay my fears, am I worrying over nothing.

Would be good to get a bit more drama when on the throttle. :driving:

Fair enough mate, tbh I've been meaning to say this for a while after some of the threads i've seen in here and when I read that I reacted.

wow £700 for a K&N air filter, i thought anything over £200 was steep!! must be BMW for you lol GLWTS though.

I thought anything over £20 for a filter was expensive.

However, this isn't just any 'filter', this is a hand-made, custom-crafted, geisha-inspired, Marks & Spencer filter

If I was going to have an open air intake like this, then it would have to be the Gruppe M one, but I'd wait until the exchange rate recovered and buy it direct.

If you just want noise then drill some 1" holes in your intake box. The noise alone will make the car feel faster

I'm in two minds about buying this and whether I can justify it for the price. What would be the best price for it to make it attractive to me?!

Wowser. I'm honestly not sure I can say they are worth the money at that price!

It really is just a K&N filter with a GRP heat shroud (wrapped in CF). I guess still no one else makes one similar though.

you mean its not actual CF :o

I want the noise but not for £900 for a piece of plastic.
I've heard/ only heard (from a muppet with a tuned M3 thats never seen a trackday :P ) that you loose torque with this kit?

+1...and who cares if it IS CF or not, its a bloody air intake not a crash cell.

Knock a 0 off the price and its more reasonable.

Withdrawing my £400 offer by the way, read too many issues about MAF issues (and O2 sensors).

I am waiting on a reply from A forum member but would take £600 posted.
All this opinions on price does make me laugh as always been a believer that you get what you pay for? I spent along time trying to justify the price and did not buy when I had my white coupe but having taken the dive I would never own a z4m without one as for me the difference was amazing, from the sound to the feel. iMOP that is?
