Gruppe M - Hindhead Tunnel

Makes me want a roadie. You guys get such aural pleasure

All the time mate. Roof down it bounces off walls, hedgerows, central reservations, tunnels, buildings, trees, pedestrians, everything... You get the engine up front and the exhaust behind, all bouncing back into the cockpit - epic surround sound awesomeness :driving:

I was never really a coupé fan, though the first Z4 I ever drove was a coupe and if I'd stayed non-M then I may have considered it down the line if I got bored of roof-down driving or it lost it's thrill :o ... But I don't think I could ever go from an M roadie to an M coupé. I'm pretty sure it just wouldn't be the same. Though for me to be sure you can take me for a pax spin in yours next time we meet :D

Unfortunately the tunnel has average speed cameras, I live down the road. Still fun to give the engine a Rev when going through!

Should probably introduce myself as a newbie, Mike, and I'm three months into owning my Z4MR, loving the car so far. I commute to work by train so it only gets used on weekends. Makes me look forward to the weekend even more knowing I get to have a blast in the car!

This thread is being hijacked for an important reason.

Mr McG has owned a Z4M for 3 months yet the above was his first ever post. My profound powers of deduction tell me that we cannot have seen any pics of this vehicle.

No playing in tunnels until we see the pics. :D

Any of you folk with the GruppeM had a chance to hear the Eventuri in comparison? I want to pull the trigger soon on an intake and want the best noise in terms of growl and a monumental sense of occassion, couldn't give a toot about performance!

I was hoping to get to the open day they had a few weeks ago, but sadly had to pass as it was also a rugby day... and driving with a beer in hand is not clever...
