Grrrr another problem, help!!!!!

Ok, just had a ne drive shaft bearing and prop shaft coupling replaced, only to find another problem!

When i accelorate hard in 1st gear the gear stick goes mad! it vibrates heaviliy!

Does anybody know what this could be??

Engine or geabox mountings. Assuming gearstick is in/on properly.

Is it after you've taken your foot off the clutch, or as you're doing so? The latter is probably the clutch. Mounts will be cheaper :-(

its when my foot is completely off the clutch, i think its nothin to do with that!

Does it totally disappear in 2nd gear?

They do have a very mechanical tingle to them in 1st/2nd, but to have this excessive vibration in just 1st seems odd.

I think since 1st gear transmits the most torque, which is the main thing, and it is also going the slowest it will too, so lower frequency vibrations present... maybe a loose rear gearbox damper? Worn engine mounts as Tref mentioned?

Just weird how it's started after repairs?!

hi, no its just n 1st gear, nothing in others!

after my repairs i took it back and they took the drive shaft of and said nothing was wrong with it!

it is very apparent, and even makes a noise if i take my hand off the ger stick!

think this is gonna cost me!
