Group buy - remote roof / remote roof one touch ** Closed **

UPDATE:

Just did the window reset and all is now well, everything works perfectly.

tried
both windows up then raise roof and both windows go half way then back up and lock
both windows down then raise roof and both windows go up and lock
pass window down and drivers up then raise roof, driver goes half way then both windows go up and lock
drivers window down and pass up and pass window goes half way then both go up and lock.

If i missed typing a combination i did try all combinations and everything works perfectly.
 
BTW how does this windows reset work?

I have (RC/ OTH not yet installed) noticed that if I lower or raise the roof, the Z4 lowers the windows for a third and does not put them back up again. I thought that was normal?
 
I have tried one window fully open and the other closed and raised the roof and both windows shut for me.

I suspect the time my window was open would have been triggered by the antitrap so my window reset fixed that.

Thats quite normal!

With this module when you lower your roof it (either from the remote or with the OT) it will raise the windows fully for you.
 
For the reference of US purchasers:
Ordered mine on Thursday, April 21st.
Arrived Monday, May 2nd.
Transit time to Washington DC metro area: 11 days including Easter holiday.

Installation was about 30 minutes or so.
Instructions are comprehensive and well written.
Trickiest part was getting wire loom harnesses disconnected.
Used the provided Scotch-Loks with no issues.
Trick seems to be to depress the metal blade with a pair of pliers or vice grips to ensure good contact, and THEN to close cover.

Works perfectly!!

Oh, and regarding the proper timing for the button presses?
This is the mantra that I use, and it works every time.
"PRESS, Bee-Em-Double-You, PRESS, Bee-Em-Double-You, PRESS"
 
FINALLY fitted and everything works as it should :) !

I finally got round to installing the Remote module over the weekend, I also tidied up the installation of the One Touch module which I installed following the original group buy.
All the joints are now soldered, insulated and wrapped with loom tape.
So with some trepidation I re-connected the battery………
Press, Press, Press……pause………and it all works. I am now one Very Happy Camper…… :D :D :D :D

I'm still waiting for mine (it was send 3 days ago)
and while waiting - do you disconect the battery for the install?
