If anyone else is interested, let me know your name, forum name and address and make a personal payment to "[email protected]" via paypal. The price is £39.9 + £4.99 for UK P&P, if you're in mainland Europe (not UK) then let me know and I'll get the P&P price for you.

Im interested in getting one as well. How much would it cost to ship the item to Manila,Philippines? Thanks!

Might as well get it installed, ready to go. I put it in last week, tested, then put the hardtop back on. Ready for some sun.

Hi Chaps,

Fitted this today. I would use blocks to connect the wires together. The red connectors are useless tbh, none of them bit and connected.

Blocks were less intrusive as well. The other thing I noticed was the instructions need to be improved, e.g. the grammar. I looked at the instruction to strip back 100 cm and thought bloody hell. For wires was also mentioned instead of four, but that's me being pedantic :P

Other than that it worked well, although i pressed it initially and let go, the windows dropped and i had to press it again and let go and the roof came down, so technically 2 clicks.

I guess, if you held it down until the rood moved, then let go, it would be one click :P

I got the red connectors to work, but did use pliers!

I think if you are only getting the windows, you are releasing a fraction of a second too soon, fairly sure I don't hold mine until the roof moves.

Hi Guys
I know that these type of connectors can be troublesome if you use the wrong size - not everyone realises that these connectors come in different sizes for different wire gauges - if you use the wrong size you will have issues. The ones supplied with the module are sized for the gauge of wire we're dealing with so should not cause you an issue and I've not had any trouble with them myself but you do have to ensure that the metal blade is pushed fully home with pliers before the clip is fastened.

Thanks for the feedback on the instructions, those two typos were spotted and corrected a little while ago, you must have V1 of the instructions.

If you are only briefly pressing one the buttons then what you are seeing is correct as the module will not operate unless the button is pressed for greater than 0.5s, I think it mentions this in the "Operation" section of the instructions.

OK I need another one,
Payment sent
how far are you off the remote version?, if that is just around the corner I would wait, andyou could view this as deposit...

Hi
The remote version will be available in two flavours, either remote only or remote and one touch combined.
I'd say that the firmware and PCB design is about 80% complete and I'd expect it to be available by the end of February or the start of March.
If you want to wait until it's ready I'm happy to return your payment, just let me know.

~Just installed my one touch and it works perfectly! You do have to press the button for about half a second then the rest is done for you! Love it!
