Hi guys and Girls

The guys at Grosvenor ( Independent BMW garage in READING BERKS) have sent me this email inviting the members of the z4 forum along to there open day ( see below)



We would like to invite you to our BMW M-Powered open day at our new site on Richfield Avenue. Taking place on Saturday the 10th of September 10am to 3pm.

For the first time ever we are going to completely open our workshop! This will give you an opportunity to have a look around, get to know us and meet other fellow enthusiasts.

Our highly experienced technicians will be on hand to show you just how in depth our diagnostic equipment can go into your vehicle, activating some hidden features within your vehicle free of charge (subject to time and availability on the day).

Oliver Signs will be demonstrating their revolutionary vinyl wrapping system.

AA Valet will be showing you just how spectacular your vehicle can look with a little of their TLC.

Wood's BMW will be attending.

A delicious complimentary BBQ will be fired up at 11am for everyone attending.

Doors open at 10am with various demonstrations happening throughout the day.

It might be a nice chance to all meet up before the weather starts to change.

I need to give them a idea of how many might turn up,so please add your name to the list ( could be 100 plus M cars .)so lets put up a good show. :thumbsup:

Yet another one I'm likely to be away for, bugger.

Sounds like it could be a good day; might need to pop down another time & get them to recode my keys as fed up pressing unlock twice to open pax door & hating the way doors lock at a certain speed but don't unlock when I turn the engine off.

Everyone from the Z4-forum is invited. If you could please post if they plan to attend as it really does help us gauge numbers for food etc.

Woods BMW in Hampshire will be bringing a selection of parts for sale on the day as well as donating a prize for 'car of the day' (A BMW dealer supporting a Independent, this i'm sure is a first).

Grosvenor, ask them if they can bring an E89 outdoor car cover, and if it looks ok and I get a discount, I'll buy it.....

If your company can do anything to program my idrive to take a full postal address, I would happily pay for that...

AND..sorry! If AA valet just fancy polishing my bonnet with a rotary, I will happily pay and wait for a couple of hours while it's being done. It's Alpine White, doesn't look too bad, but I can notice the imperfections.

Spoke to Toby at Woods last night and he is sorting out bringing one down for you on the day.

We only do software updates on a working day as they require a little bit more concentration, but we can talk to you about that when your here.

Again, you would need to speak to the guys at AA Valet on the day as we were just using the day for a social event. We are putting on free food, Our staff are donating their time etc so the whole day isn't money maker, its just there for us all to enjoy. :thumbsup:

I emailed AA and they said they should be able to sort something out...

We've had some really good feedback regarding the day so far.

John Kleis (Reading's local car audio specialist) are attending and bringing their brand new demo car, this really does show just how far car car audio has come on and how professional a good install can look! :thumbsup:
 
Ok guys and girls

Only a couple of weeks to go , so if you want to tag along get your name down on the list. looks like there will be plenty going on .

The Plan will be to meet up at Mc donalds at the business park near Reading Fooball ground this will make it easy for the people coming down from London as its just of the M4 junction 11.

Time will be 10.00 am meet and then we will drive on to Grosvernors to arrive at 11.00 or there abouts. :driving:
