As said before, this thread sums up why this is the only car forum worthwhile reading... we're all z car fans but I'm drawn to the fact that the discussions/opinions can go from banter to watchdog/martin lewis/working lunch/money programme to one foot in the grave...

keep it up

Wondered when a salary willy waving thread would eventually arrive,
Already had the "whose got the best watch, best camera, best pushbike, best work-on-location photo" awards.

PS I just posted a higher amount,
not that I get it, but it will impress more......

I've put in my salary for work only including OT, but I'm also a Landlord, so have income through that and put's me in the top end of the list.
However, I don't have much disposable income as around 75% of it goes for things such as mortgages, loans, bills, etc. hopefully that'll change in a couple of years. :D

Thats still gives you 25k spare then, more than some people earn before paying out anything...

The ones in the over £100k mark, the Z4 must be either the wife's or their child's first car!! :P
It was mine, justified by the hard graft. Had to buy the family wagon as well though.

Two entries for less than 20k - how on earth do you live and drive a Z4 ???

Bank of Mum & Dad?
At 20 I owned a supercharged VX220, sold it for £13k and while I may have 'borrowed' from parents at points in my life, it was always paid back. It's not all that difficult, it's just that some people are bad with money.

Now at 23 and have the Z4 and a standard VX220 (which is now being sold as I've bought a house with the other half) and can admit I'm just about in the 25-30k category. Half the story at the end of the day is about money management. If you can do that then it's not as hard as some think.

For the record I work 6 days a week the majority of the time and have racked up a total of about 24 days in a row working (and overtime) without a day off before.

No matter what the salary, the common factor is most of us have too much month at the end of the salary

How is it willy-waving when it's an anonymous poll? :?

can i ask, as 1postseller impressed anybody by saying he is on over 100k?

oh yeah ! i,m in awe of him :P

in truth whatever folks earn or have is great to see .
i,m fortunate to have never experienced jealousy or envy at any level be it income, housing or motoring .
admiration ? yes & motivation for myself maybe but never do i look at anyone else & wish i was them .
i am more than lucky to have what i have in family & friends . whatever else i have i know came through my own hard work & determination so i can appreciate what others have done to get their rewards
ps / was there a "post of the year" category in the awards ? :)

so far i have not come across 1 person who is on this forum to show off

Best bit about forum runs are they attract all sorts and every one of them (nearly ;)) have been great to talk to - doesn't matter what job / what income / what age so needn't worry whatever box you tick :)

I'm waiting to vote till the polls extended a bit :p

I wonder if there is a correlation between Income and Coupe & Roadster :poke:

Maybe a few years ago when the coupes were newer - but imagine there will be some correlation between e85 and e89 though.
