I've recently purchased a 2006 MC which already had an Intravee II and Alpine KCA-420i unit installed. My car has Nav, BT & DSP. I have an Android phone and wanted to stream music via BT to the stereo.
I saw a GROM USB3 Kit and BT Streaming come up for sale on the forum which I purchased. From speaking with GROM support, they have advised I will not need a DSP conversion kit but allegedly a software update.
I tried to remove the Intravee and Alpine unit from the car, but could not seem to move what I presume are 2 amps in the boot. I decided to call it a day incase I caused any damage to the wiring in situ.
Is there anyone in the Essex area that has experience with these, that would be able to help me remove the Intravee and Alpine unit and install the Grom unit?
