Grill opinion

A week or so ago I bought some ///M vinyl stripes for the grill, but after some basic photoshopping I'm not convinced it's a good look.

Too much or nice touch?

I wouldn't personally. It didn't come like that and it looks a little bit 'try hard'.

However, it's your car and only you can decide what you're happy with!
 
Yea I'm not so sure, seemed like a good idea at the time but it does seem a little OTT. The wonders of photoshop, or the iPad app Facetune in this case, prevents mistakes from ever happening :thumbsup: Mad that, an app that was designed so teenagers can re-arrange their face for perfect selfies can be used to recolour a car and its bits :wink:
 
I don't think it looks s**t, it just doesn't need it. I'm all for black grilles though :thumbsup:

Even more so when every Tom, Dick, and Harry has those strips on their e46 318. :|
 
Black grills yes, M stripes maybe no... How modified is the rest of your car? If its relatively standard maybe not...
 
I'm with Bing, black stealth grills, no need for the colours but, as noted, your car... (but it's got enough badges on it already!)

Car is totally stock, I was never convinced on the stripes... just fancied some opinions. I'm all for the black grill though, got my cans of plasti-dip at the ready!
 
Black grills: no
Colours: no

I am working on the basis that one day I will have the only non-modded ///M

I like the black grilles but not the stripes... I also see you in the newcastle area. We often meet up :rofl: (really not that often) keep an eye out for threads on the meets and trips page if you fancy it first one is on the Sunday 1st of March.

Great work but front end looks a bit of a mishmash of blacks now. You need to paint all the grills the same shade of black, then in my eyes it will be spot on :thumbsup:
