On an F1 roll at the mo.... :lol:

Seriously though, what the hell is wrong here...you have from skimpy to national costume to elegant. I keep trying but I can’t find any girls with a revolver to their head making them do it. Indeed, lots are complaining they’ve been made redundant and others that they love doing it so what’s the problem?

I see nothing sexist or seedy about it, someone please enlighten me... :scratchhead:

First I'd heard of this :( Call me a dinosaur, but I always thought fast cars and beautiful girls were a great combo.
 
I'm sure those grid girls are so happy at being freed from a torrid life of internation travel, 5 star hotels, good food and hanging out with super stars. On a serious note though, it's PC gone too far - "I don't like it so you can't do it"
 
The world really has gone mad. It will be an offence for hetro males to look at hetro females if these bossy ps to##pots get their way. :cry:
 
Just another example of the people involved not actually being offended, but middle-class white people being offended on their behalf.

Who actually watches F1 anyway....a real shame, but look at the viewing figures...the sport already died a few years ago!

All those women were getting paid for promoting the sponsors. I don't see why that's an problem.

Chances are the geeks into F1 are more interested in cars than women. Now they're putting children there!! Recipe for disaster.
 
Agree with you John,, pc gone bloody mad. Talking about this with my wife when all this broke. We have 2 grown up daughters and would not stop them doing this if they had the chance to do so.
Obviously what happened at that so called gentlemans evening that started all this cancelling the darts and grid girls was not acceptable.
But to put all those ladies and some guys out of work is crazy.

What’s depressing is, as usual, common sense has grown angel wings and fluttered off into the wild blue yonder never to be seen again. Of all the grid girls that have been asked so far a big fat 0% have said they don’t like it, form what I’ve read. That’s 0%. But some PC group have decided that these girls shouldn’t have a voice, great, how demeaning is that?? How many ‘sexual harassment’ or ‘inappropriate behaviour’ allegations have cropped up in F1 recently? As far as I’m aware that’s another one for the 0% group. Do those women in the pic look like harassed and as though they’re being made to do it? Have any of them got even close to having a boob pop out because the outfit is too skimpy? That’s up to the viewer of course.

Utter stupidity as usual... :roll:

Too true,pc brigade have gone too far, actually putting people/mainly women,out of work that they enjoy and get paid pretty well for doing so.

Why have none of these organisations got any backbones to stand up for what their viewers/spectators want,as well as the women themselves??

How many feelings of those in the pc brigade,who are actually "offended" by this, actually watch F1/Darts/Boxing etc??

Agree with all the above total madness putting all these people out of work :thumbsdown:

as far as I was aware its not an actual ban BTCC have said they will not be taking note of this and keeping the promo girls as has the boxing world.

PC brigade make me sick they just upset people and cause more problems as far as I am concerned my black work mates are black Englishmen/women not Afro Caribbean and they agree as they said to me they have never even been to the Caribbean .
