Grey hood

Hi guys,

Any ideas on how easy it is to get your hands on a grey hood? and for how much roughly?

Cheers

Good luck with that search - I've had my zed 2 years and never seen another grey roof - except the odd car with one on the forum (like mine). Now if you could find one in burgundy for me - you could have my grey one - no I don't think burgundy exists !

Ohh i do love a little grey-on-grey.

You do know that it is quite a job to change the fabric don't you?

If you dont find a second hand one then a new one is several £k as you have to buy the complete assembly.

These people can supply one, I know because I also have a grey roof and I asked them

Less than a mile away from where I live, drive past everyday.

I have looked on their website in the past. Don't think it will be OEM though.

Yeah - but where then do I get the budget for clear light / angel eye conversion - might need your help with that one Adam !!

Ok - sorry to hijack this thread but I've gone and bought a burgundy roof so my grey one will shortly be available. Early offers considered before I put it up for sale.

Not sure this is entirely true given some recent research - new fabric available from a couple of specialists in various colours for several hundreds not thousands - still a big job to swap that is probably best left to the pros...

Re pics - I've not even seen my new burgundy one yet - let alone had it fitted - all in good time ! 8)
