Gremlins and Airbag light

If the light doesn't come on at all its only an advisory on the English MOT.
Which is useful but surely not entirely acceptable as it could mean the airbag system won't work at all. Seems a bit odd to say 'oh, I should just mention that we have no idea if the safety system in your car will work, but you can still drive it."

Truth be told , I’d probably prefer to have the airbag light issue sorted out legitimately with the necessary parts and equipment. There’s no pulling the wool over the eyes of the NCT guys anyway. Zey have ze job to do!
Sooner live with the satisfaction of knowing that if there’s ever a reason for the airbag system to do its thing, it would work properly.
Hopefully it will never be needed. A few quid spent now is far better than a lifetime of regret!

Just got another notification from PayPal that HUBAUER-shop.ie are yet again refunding me for the part I ordered last week. Won’t bother trying to deal with them anymore. Waste of time. They take the payment and then they don’t have the part.
There’s a company called stynerstevenagebmwparts.co.uk who have a part available listed as part number 65776928571 that they maintain is a fit for my z4. It’s not on the list that enuff zed posted.
Does anyone know if this is a correct fit or should I telephone the company directly.

No it won’t work. Plus several people have gone to them, waited weeks, then been told they don’t actually have it.

I agree, but I don't make the rules. I only found out about that as my first Z4 has the lamp removed and the MOT tester told me about it.
