I'll probably be at HC '08 at some point, in some capacity. I may be a "non-official-participant" this year, but would still love to make the trip for the fun of the drive and the beauty of the scenery, which we seldom get to truly appreciate in our haste to get there!
This year I think we are going to take it easy, stay in a cabin somewhere around the GA/NC/TN area, and tour the scenic roads for a few days. Then stop at HC to meet & greet with the gang there before heading home.
As for the little chrome shark...I found that on an on-line boat supply store, which has since gone defunct. The shark is currently in "hibernation", its place now occupied by a dragon emblem earned at the Tail of the Dragon during last year's HC drive, which you can see if I can get this stupid picture to work...and to stay working for more than a day... :x :
