Just wanted to say hi, my name is Kurt and i live in Liverpool. I have had my brand new Z4 Sdrive 2.3i a week now and i absolutely love it.

I'm still running the car in so I'm not pushing it too hard at the moment, but it feels great to drive, and the sport button is a great feature if your easily amused like me. I thought this type of feature only came on an automatic car, but mine is manual. There's Normal, Sport, and Sport plus. Sport instantly give a more pleasing engine note and a notable increase in acceleration. I think it also stiffens up the suspension as the ride does appear to be more harsh on the bumpy roads of Liverpool. 19 inch low profile run flat tyres don't help though I suppose. Sport Plus does the same as Sport i think, but it also turns off some of the driver aids.
The car really does appear to attract an awful lot more attention than the Sprint Blue TTS roadster i previously had. Hopefully it won't attract the same prick who keyed my TTS.
Before anyone asks how my Z4 compares to the TTS, it's slower, but as i said I'm still running it in so once it's got 1500 miles or so on the clock I'm sure it will feel a bit quicker. Obviously not as quick as the TTS, but plenty quick enough for cruising around town which is pretty much all i do. I wanted a car right now so did not get the option of a more powerful Z4. I wanted brand new and in stock. William BMW in Liverpool had the car sitting there unregistered with 6 miles on the clock. I said yes on the Tuesday and collected in on the Thursday. I'm too impatient to order a car and wait months so that's why i got a Z4 Sdrive 2.3i which weirdly has a 2.5 litre engine i think! I dare say i could have sourced a more powerful Z4 from a different BMW dealer, but i wanted to buy the car locally, and for reasons already stated the need for more power isn't really there.

I hope to meet a few like minded folk if anyone is planing a North West get together any time soon?

More pictures to follow when the rain eventually stops.

Spec wise, the car is manual with comfort pack, connectivity pack, heated seats, and 19 inch alloys. Other than that i believe it to be standard.
