Hello All,

I have had lots of BMW's and have just bought a Z4M Roadster, which I will pick up next week.

I was not looking for a Z4M but whilst browsing looking for a new car, this particular one caught my eye because it is so nice.

I was looking at the SLK55 AMG, but I prefer the focused and rewarding nature of the Z4M. It is more of a drivers car I feel.

I have not owned a BMW with the S54 engine yet, my last car was an E92 335i so I wonder how the adjustment will be. The 335i's engine was magnificent in all respects but especially because it was so effortless. The S54 will need more working I feel....which should add to the fun.

Anyway, I am picking it up next week.

The car in question is a 2007 silver grey model with circa 30K miles. Has red leather, heated electric memory seats, pro nav, bluetooth, DSP audio, etc.

Sounds very nice, a very good choice. Make sure you post some pictures once you collect 8)
You will be counting down the days!

Hi and welcome, sounds like you have got yourself a nice ///M :)

Looking forward to seeing some photos once you pick it up

Thanks all for the warm welcome.

I will post some pics up when I have the machine and am getting to know it over the next couple of weeks.

Hi All,

Picked the car up on Saturday.

Very happy with it. The S54 certainly has a sense of occasion to it.

The car had an issue with the sat nav (GPS sensor knackered) which I managed to fix.

I have ordered a new third brake light (fallen apart and plastic lens fallen off) and rear BMW roundel (de-laminating) which arrive into my local stealer on Wednesday.

Other jobs to do are as follows:

1. Fit intravee and Alpine KCA unit - Control ipod from bordmonitor
2. Remove CDV - Give me back proper control of the clutch plate
3. Clean and protect soft top (Renovo) - Remove some small marks here and there
4. Clean out rear rain water drain tubes - Worried about expensive roof motor getting wet and failing
5. Take some photos and post them

Hello all,

Here is my car, apologies for taking an age to get a decent set of pics up here:
