cheers, Gordon in Glasgow

Hi Gordon... was me who sent the invite from Facebook :driving: ... as I said... beautiful bit of rare kit, I'm sure we'll all be clamouring to find out more about it

Hi and welcome.

Nice looking and rare car you have there.

It would appear that there is some co-ordinated plan to "export" all of the Zed 4s to Scotland. They must be more popular there than Ford Fiestas!

Hope you sort out the warning lights.

Enjoy :driving:

That looks very nice Gordon. Please treat us to more photos and info of your rare beast.

Welcome Gordon

Having only had mine a few months, would be interested to know who local Glasgow specialist is :)

Nice car,you didn't get these out the box with AC kit,and not too many people did the AC z4 kit,as it divided opinion at the time(side vents etc), but personally I love it,especially in silver

Warning lights hopefully not be too difficult or expensive to fix,at worst hopefully just a sensor or 2?

Hopefully see it at a meet in the future, either the Lakes j Dales meet in July or a Scottish meet possibly sooner, all going to plan :D :driving:

Welcome Gordon

As Rickrob says we have had quite a few new Scottish forum members which is great :D

Cars looks the absolute business and I have to say I know nothing about the Zed Snitchzer package. Look forward to seeing more pics of the interior and the engine.

The guys on here are very knowledgeable and for any problems you can usually find a thread or two.

Check out the meets section as a few of the Scottish lads are meeting for a BMW Sunday to celebrate 100 years of BMW near you at the end of May and it would be great to see you and your car there.

Hope we can arrange a few hoons while we are there. :driving:

Another possible Braemar trip mid May thanks to Craig again :D

Welcome Gordon from a other Gordon  very nice looking zed. Never seen one like that in the flesh. Hope you get your problems sorted out, what Indy you using ?

Another weegie here. Just got my Z4 less than a month ago.

Upgraded the DISA valve so far to aluminium from plastic with a full pin that locks in place off ebay. Seems a bit stiffer than OEM but moved freely enough.

Next mod will be moving the roof motor to the boot.

Tried upgrading the head unit to find out I had the DSP Carver system which is a PITA to upgrade. Looking into just sticking an aux cable in there now and then running bluetooth through the AUX in.

Just bought some engine oil, transmission fluid, diff fluid and brake fluid so I can get a full service done as it hasn't had one in a couple of years.

A blue Z4 with the top down whizzed past me on the M8 (M80) turn off at the weekend there. Was it one of you guys?

Belated welcome dude! Lovely Zed you have there
If you're free there is a 100 years of BMW meet at the Showcase not far from you Clicky link, hope you can make it!
