Picked up the Z4 from Jason and Alan yesterday after loads of fiddly work - both belts replaced, new suspension arms, greased brake pipes, Hunter alignment, overfilled aircon emptied and regassed, glove box catch replaced, front sidelight LED resistors fitted, two new bonnet cables, bonnet alarm switch and probably other bits I can't remember after the fine bottle of Chablis I had with dinner this evening!
As always, excellent work carried out at a great rate by top blokes - Jason also updated the engine management software and am pretty sure he must have worked a little remap magic as the car feels more sprightly. Great to meet Dom's loopy pup too!
The Z4 now finally feels like it a proper little sports car - since purchase it's had Eibach springs, new alloys and proper tyres, new bushes and arms, AFe CAI, Milltek exhaust and retrimmed steering wheel (amongst many other mods!) but it was only today it felt and sounded just right. All I need is some decent weather - the heated seats will do me for the short term
