Last year I visited several car manufacturing facilities in Germany; BMW, in Leipzig and München, Mercedes in Stuttgart, and VW in Dresden.

In all of them we were not allowed to take photographs. My first one was in Dresden the VW "Glass Factory" A friend of mine found the video (below) and I like to share it with you. Enjoy :)

If you are ever in Germany it is certainly something to add to your "Things to see wish list" :)

Yep. Pretty impressive, wonder how efficient it is compared to other plants, and whether all that tech is worth it.
 
They are actually very efficient all is well planed. Keep in mind this is the high end VW cost over 140,000 Euro so everything has to be just right, no wonder they all wear white gloves. One has to be there to really appreciate it.

PS. I don't know how many members might be able to see this, then I figured this was the right place to post it since it is none Z4 related, even if this high end WV is competition to the 7 Series BMW :)
