File Under POP is tonight show

Duration: 1 hour @9pm

What makes a great pop album? Danny Baker celebrates the golden age of the analogue, vinyl LP with pop star Boy George, writer Grace Dent and journalist David Hepworth. Opinionated and impassioned, Baker and his guests select their favourite pop albums and discuss how the LPs of the 60s and 70s were produced - and devoured - in quite a different way to their modern equivalents.

I put it on, but after 5 minutes turned over. Danny Baker gets on my wick!

Watched both eps so far. Final one tomorrow. Don't make many programmes like this anymore so nicely done to whichever producer got this onto BBC FOUR.

Personally I'm a Danny Baker fan. The guys been through the mill recently and to come out the other side, with that amount of energy and passion for something he clearly loves in such an engaging way. Energises me just watching!

More shows like this please!

Part 3 on tonight for all you musicheads out there.
Final episode entitled - 'File under: R&B. Danny Baker and his three guests explore the essential elements of a great R&B album.'
