i think in the sates antique cars has the privilege for that kind of plate.

other option- this is just a dealer plate and the car has no registration yet, says on ebay the buyer will be responsable for registing the car in his sate.
 
507 is amazing. its amazing how the prices of the german pre 1960 roadster gone wild. think about our Z in 50 years.. that would be a killer thing to put one in a time capsule :)

Yup, super nice car. If i had more money i'd consider it for sure. I don't think it's a crazy value either when compared to some others from that era. Maybe even an investment? (maybe i could convince the wife....)
 
well.. with all the respact to the 507, a vintage cars that goes up to millions are cars like 5 meter long mercedes 540k special roadster running on a 12 cylinder and with a hand built body, which less than 10 ever made.. they were going for 3-4 millions $ in the eraly 00 i guess 2day its will go over 10 in an auction.
 
BMW is the host marque at this year's Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix - check out the web site. This is regarded as one of the finest vintage grand prix events in the world. There should be a number of 327, 328, 2002's etc. on hand for racing. Check it out if your in the area, It's worth the trip. It's a week long series of events with racing on Saturday and Sunday (7/18 & 19).

what a car ! i guess the reserve on that baby set for min of 150K.
