Is there some kind of special running in oil put in the car at the factory to help the engine bed in, anyone know what grade that is or what grade I should be using to top up with before the first service?
I believe you should top up with 0 -30w oil. Castrol do one from memory, it will say long life oil suitable for bmw engines on the front.
I got mine in a morrisons petrol station in case that helps!
