Gower Coast/Wales Short Break Anyone ?

Number5

Elite
 Bristol M4/M5
If anyone is looking to book a short (driving?) break away with some fantastic roads and coastline scenery on the South Wales Coast, look no further than this:

http://www.homefromhome.com/cottage-details/201

Our first floor apartment is 10 meters from the beach, overlooking Swansea Bay and Mumbles Head and a 1 minute walk from the busy Marina with its cafes, restaurants and bars in SA1. It's a good base to explore the Gower Coastline, Worms Head, etc and only a short drive before you are into the Brecon Hills with quiet open roads. The property comes with a dedicated Parking space right underneath the window so your car is safely close and in-sight (not garaged unfortunately)

If you are looking to drive Wales this year with a mate or with the Wife/Girlfriend, etc this will offer you a good base allowing you to plan your trip down to Swansea via the Brecons National Park or even scenic Snowdonia, depending on your direction of travel. The apartment is fully self catering, with a double and twin bedroom (see webiste).

There's plenty to do in the area and I'm quite happy to give you tips for your stay.

View from the apartment window:

Evening Views from the 28th Floor "Grape & Olive" restaurant over Swansea Bay & Mumbles:

The Gower Road to Worms Head ( if you fancy a blast !)

Worms head (The sleeping Dragon)

The Brecons (30 mins from Apartment)

Prices, information and availability can be seen via the agents website, or drop me a PM if you are interested in booking the property direct, as I can do a little cheaper, without agents commission and booking fee :D
Prices range for approx £300 (low season) to £600 (peak) per week and (minimum) 3 night breaks are also available.
(Property is at SA1 1SU if you want to Satnav it)

PM me if interested.
Thanks No 5

It sleeps 4. A double and a twin bedroom. All the details are in the link in the OP

That looks nice Alan. We stayed in Breckon at the Breckon Castle hotel, last year, on out way back from our mini UK tour. Would have far sooner stayed there. 8) Do you do one and two night stays?

We do last minute, but it doesnt really stack up by the time we cover the linen and cleaning costs per stay. We'd need about £200 for two nights, So a Premier Inn is cheaperr, (unless youre sleeping 4) It also isnt viable to miss a weeks booking just for a Friday or Saturday night,

Looks a great getaway place N5 , mrs w is up for a visit but no pets :? :( not even a well behaved Border who loves a trip to the seaside & a ice cream

That looks really nice :D
As kids we spent many holidays near Rhossili camping and caravanning. Really nice driving roads as you say. We were planning a short break down that way as someone said there was a surf school somewhere near

Yes, there's a surf school on Caswell beach and a nice little cafe from which you can watch the waves.
