Got the front end off

Hi all

I took the bumper off on my car to get the lights returned. Any suggestions on what maintenance would be good to do while I have access?

I’d just give it a thorough clean up and re paint the braces in front of the rad. I’d be tempted to try another colour but a new coat of black will freshen it up

Need to take mine off at some point to replace a fekin blown xenon. What a pallava.
Any tips/tricks?
I'm dreading the headlight washer tubes and covers as I heard they can break very easily.

I don't have headlight washers so luckily didn't have to deal with that.
I watched various YouTube videos and just took my time with it. It had been off previously so it was relatively easy going.

Shouldn’t be sny issue with them. From memory I disconnected mine at the washer bottle. Whole lot then comes away easily.

So i dont need to faff around with the nozzles/covers if i just detach the tubes from washer bottle as u and scoob indicate? Whole bumper will come away with nozzles and covers intact? Yay for that if so. I always thought u had to take covers off and risk knackering them in the process.
Might get me arse in gear and stop procrastinating now..

My solution is at the headlamp washer, you just go in via the fog light rear cover - it's a little push tab fitting, only downside is the fluid will end up on the drive!

Fine if you have fog light covers

Correct, it will all be attached to the bumper.

All you have to do is lower the bumper to the floor and disconnect the washer hose from the t piece that feeds the two headlamp washers. If you want to save the fluid loss clamp the pipe prior to disconnecting.
