Bloody hurt too
I've not run a front plate for years and within a week or so of taking the one off the front of the Z and I get pulled
Starting to wonder whether this car is cursed
He was alright as it goes, I explained that my number plate surround had started to come away so before it could fall off and become road debris I removed it completely, just haven't got around to riveting it back on yet - sorry officer :|
He explained that I should get it sorted asap as considering ANPR etc it could be construed as Perverting the Course of Justice. He then went on to compliment the car asking how it went?
Bottom line, no fine
I've had various dealings with the BIB with various cars over the years and I've not got a bad word to say. If you are polite and don't try to mug them off they are generally a good bunch. And a lot of the time Traffic Police are Traffic Police because they too are petrol heads. I'll feel a little better seeing my council tax go out of my account this month
