Got Oil ?

I’ve used Castrol Edge 0W-40 A3/B4 for the past ten years on my 2005 3.0i, 0W-30 before that. Never needed to top up, but I do oil service annually, with only 3000 to 3500 miles between.
 
Thanks DMike-- that is the identical oil I am considering moving to as well. I used Castrol GT-X (20w-50) for nearly 550k combined miles back in the day with several Volvo's (760T and 240GL wagon), and the engines staying remarkably strong and near new in performance. The 0W is new to me a bit but sounds like BMW recommendation-- obviously recommending their own brand. Thanks for the input.
