Got myself a new Zed (sort of..)

Well after 8 months I've got itchy feet again and decided change car- so I've swapped the zed for another one with a slight difference...

I dabbled with the idea of getting another 3.0 Z4 but came to the conclusion I'd like to try something different. Very happy with the 350Z- it's in great condition and been well looked after and that exhaust note at full chat is just :wub:

I'll still be hanging around (if you let me!) to join in in the banter and or lend a hand if I can :thumbsup:
 
I saw one of these last week, it was debadged so took a bit of tracking down as to what is was. Must say I really liked it :D

Quite a bit more power compared to my 2.0 Z4 and the soundtrack from the exhaust is amazing. Has a really nice burble at low revs which I don't think I'll ever tire from :thumbsup: Quite a weighty car to drive- heavy steering and heavy clutch but I like that as it's quite involving and feels really stable.

It's really nice inside too- more comfortable seats, lots of toys but it's not got the "quality" finishing touches that the german marques have (plastic door cards vs leather, non-illuminated steering controls that you can't see in the dark lol, randomly placed switches which seem like a complete after thought when they were designing the cockpit lol etc) however it does have a lot less rattles and creaks inside than the Z4 as it absorbs the lumps and bumps in the roads a lot better.

Hard to say which is better- if I had enough money I'd have both lol!! Both great cars although but if there is another next time I'd defo go for a 3.0 again (and more likely the coupe :fuelfire: )

Always looking out for you, Angie and Adamski but no sightings yet lol! Very elusive Zeds!
 
Looks like you've gone the dark brown leather route like ZermattV?

Interesting choice - I wondered about a convertible version of the same when I went for the Zed

The interior is actually orange! Bit marmite but it's the contrasting colour combo I was looking for :thumbsup:

It's not quite as flamboyant in the flesh but certainly different :thumbsup:
