Didn't know that you're on first name terms - will do

Ben - thanks, I've wanted some of these for ages and to get a mint set from Srhutch was a proper bonus. Thinking the same as you - for the sake of 5mm I don't think it matters... And it really will reduce rubbing.

Not as such, but nice to have a look around.

I will join you guys as I can always visit a client there.

Wheels looking good Bing - try not to kerb these

No kerbs will be getting near these - captain slow round tight corners and maximum pothole avoidance manoeuvring

Looks Great

Don't think you'll need any spacers, just new arch liners, one of mine has a hole it it now :(
and yes 4 fit in just fine without tyres only I must add :D

Now those really do look good. Perfect detail balance of the 224 style and the flame lines of the Zed. Great job Bing

Vred treads look much, much better on car btw.

A fine job done mr B  There was never any doubt as to whether they would look swell on your car :)
PM me what you get offered from BM for the 108,s 8)

PS :driving: on the Vred choice

Looking great, loving the 224s.

Also, was trying to figure out which car park you were in, then of course the last photo gave it away - quite like a good drive along the Heath road when it's quiet (which unfortunately isn't that often)...

Thanks Marvin - early in the morning out the other side of Boughton towards Sutton Valence is a nice wee twisty blast... Though of course sticking to the 40mph speed limit :D

Sim_Simma, fortunately the wheels came with the badges :D

The caps are getting a bit old and manky now, and my bonnet roundel is starting to go a bit yellow... So I'm planning on going back to blue roundels but need to wait a bit as I want OEM all round and it's a bit of a pricey exercise to say the least...

mr wilks - will do  If it is more than my asking price on here then they can have them I think, despite the otero to get there and back. Great excuse for a blast :driving:

Thanks again everyone - bit weird looking at the car tbh, as it doesn't look like mine. So used to seeing either 108s or 103s on there, and I do love the 108s.

Hey Bing..

The wheels look ace matey..

Great choice with the Vreds..what have you used to make them so shiney..?

Also I think the fronts are spot on ..for the sake of 5mm I would leave as is..

I am fighting from having your 108's.. I was going to refurb the set I bought ..but BM gave me a great deal on the wheel package I have..but..I do like the 108's...aaaarrrggghhh... Decisions..

Mark..

Bing: However it will be nice to have slightly less rubbing up front??

Do they scrub out? If they do I'm selling my 224's

My 108s with 15mm spacers, lowered on Eibachs don't forget, wore a hole in my arch liner just behind the reflector where it bends from the edge in. Only noticeable when driving hard. I've been using black gaffer tape since the end of 2012 to cover the hole and stop it getting worse. Needs a few layers but lasts quite a while and is not noticeable unless you know about it. Weirdly only serious on the driver side, probably because a) I am a fat bastard, and b) it is really low :D

The 224s sit about 5mm further in though, so I am hoping they'll be fine
