I bought my tarpaulin cover from local dealer - about £65
I put my hardtop on
I cleared any water from the top and glass
I put my cover on
I have an old recycling box to stash my cover at 5am when I am leaving
I will label the plastic box so it doesnt get chucked out
Lets see how it works, no real frost forecast, so it is a trial run I guess

Nice. I'm going to get one of these. I have the full outdoor cover but there would be no way in hell I'd be happy putting that on my car. (came with the car before anyone asks)

I have decided to hand it up outside when I take it off rather than put it in a box
Give it a chance to dry off, assuming good weather

m44rrt,

I've got one of these now but a bit confused how does this fit around the boot area?there is a black stretchy thing on the back, where does that go?the instructions are quiet vague, would you be able to help?a photo of your boot once it is fitted, would be fantastic :)

I think I found an answer to my own question, seems the back should look like this:

and the strap goes round the boot lid,I think.

So it looks like the OP has fitted his wrong then :poke:

I fitted mine tonight - again no idea on how boot bit supposed to work! It's got two magnets on so maybe it's not supposed to tuck into boot and should just hold to boot with the magnets?! I've copied op for now - no way it would fit as per the image from navid that I can see - not big enough to cover that much of the boot.

that's what I thought,as I said instructions are just 4 photos which are worse than useless :headbang:
I shall see what I'll come up with.

It's started raining but will do so in the morning.

Trying to think of best way to describe it, but if you study instructions it is as per pic 3 although it's not immediately apparent.

If you open the boot then follow from the rear screen across the flat of the back of the car where it then dips into the boot area there is about 2/3 inches of bodywork on the vertical. The magnets just sit against this.

Clear as mud?!!

I did not get any magnets with mine
I just tucked it inside the boot and shut it
Seemed to be OK
More info would be helpul..

Looks like you got it sorted.

Looks like there are a couple of variants!

Mine doesn't have the strapping at the rear as shown in yours. It tucks into the boot and is magnetised there.

Kept it all nice and dry last night!
