Got home on Monday and........

 An Englishman Abroad.
Jumped in the Zed, shivered it was bloody cold. Put the key in the ignition and Whirrrrrrrr click click click "bugger" :(
My Dad looks at me "It was Ok on Saturday when I took it for a run to make sure everything was alright"

So after three months away really looking forward to a drive, I get to drive the old man's C4 Picasso.

Anyway charged the battery for a bit Tuesday morning and drove home with the ice that formed on the inside of the car dripping on dashboard, big fat summer tyres still fitted ambled across the A66 and made it home without any problems, don't know what all the fuss about the weather has been about :poke: even the plane was only 10 mins late landing at Teeside.

It's great to be back :D

If you don't mind me asking, what do you do for a living?
Agree... not sure what all the fuss is about... people just can't drive skidding all over the place!
 
Got home last Thursday..... but only just. Colleague on the next flight go diverted to Zurich and still trying to get home! Zed started a treat as Mrs J uses it when I'm away. Yersterday -14 degrees and the cold water pipe froze so no water or heating. But today got Mrs Js hairdryer on the pipes under the sink and heaven water back on. As for the Zed, wrapped up in the garage as the roads here are like a skating rink and it's just not worth it.

When the road is ice half the year you have to learn new skills, :thumbsup:

Don't mind at all.

I used to work for a company called Tetra Pak and now sub-contract to their international market companies , the contracts can be from a couple of days to 12 weeks at a time depending on what is required and where it is. I provide technical assistance in regards to the installation and commissioning of liquid packaging production lines aswell as routine servicing and fault finding.

Simply put I'm an international Service Engineer.
 
i got back today too, although i was only working 3 miles away, easy job today

mines automatic, can't bump start mine so hopefully my battery will be ok
